Borosow Memorial – Paul Gurney presented to the committee a proposal to
establish some memorial for Mark Borosow. Discussion centered around
a scouting scholarship in Mark’s name, perhaps for an older scout who gave back
to the younger scouts. Julie Borosow is very supportive.
Paul agreed to head a committee to identify further ideas and report
back to the troop committee at a later date.

Tomorrow night 2 older boys will be
joining troop – 7th graders

Due to calendar, no PLC B/4 next

Black Beards Diving trip planned for July 23rd – 30th 2010.

Quentin Cokingtin is
working on an additional hiking/camping high adventure opportunity for next
summer – details to follow.

2009 District Camporee

2009 District Camporee, Oct 9-11,

Estimating 700 will attend.

Equipment Coordinator -

Locker clean out and truck loading
occurred on Saturday, September 12.

Tent inventory was completed

7 tents short from ’09 inventory
ii.
Total of 24 tents short (including 7
above) from all previous years.
c.
Scoutmaster Greg Spies Motioned to
revert back to previous tent assignment process whereby tents were checked out
to ea. patrols’ quartermaster at start of camping season and collected in
January @ leadership change over and year end.
Patrol would be charged for missing or damaged tents.
