Terry Ellis                  Recognized Wheeler and Spies for outstanding efforts with the Cross Over Ceremonies and John Ahart for successful February campout.

William Easley           Survival campout was a success.  Surprise uniform inspection for Scouts and Leaders at next troop meeting.

Clarence Krantz       Most Eagle candidates are on track with requirements, need to encourage the remaining.  May have up to ten Eagle Scouts in the November Eagle Court of Honor.   Adult leaders will be needed to sit in for eagle Boards; Chris D’Adamo will be the point person to look for volunteer adult leaders.

Joe Vogliardo            Five scouts will be awarded Eagle in April.  The Court of Honor planning is on track.  Joe will work with Ken Roberson on the Leawood Rotary Club breakfast.

Chris D’Adamo          $6,500 cash on hand and outstanding scout balances are down.

Bill Haner                   Katfish Katie’s in Huntsville, MO will be the location for the Bike Hike.  Thanks to Herb Strain for negotiating a $1.50 per head rate on his trip back to St. Louis from the Bartle Campout.  Leaders will be staggered every 1.5 miles for safety. Adult volunteers at stations along the trail are needed. Bike Source will be at the campout and provide comp minor repairs in exchange for name recognition.  May need a second trailer to accommodate 68 new crossovers.  Leadership (William Easley, Bill Haner, Greg Spies, Greg Williams, Terry Ellis, etc.) will arrive one day early on Friday night to setup and layout Mustang camp.  Bill Haner and Greg Spies will coordinate bike hike menu with Ricky Korvick.

Discussed possible locations for the canoe campout.  Best locations are spring fed and 3.5 to 4 hours away.  Group decided it is best to stay on the Niangua for mustang scouts but we will pick a new campsite near the river.

Rob Wheeler             Passover falls on the OA campout.  Scouts that need to leave early will be excused without penalty as long as they arrive on Friday night and stay most of the day on Saturday.   New crossovers will arrive on Saturday morning.

Greg Williams            Bartle leader meeting will be held on March 22nd.  Visitor’s day is the last day of camp.  It was decided Troop 10 would not host another troop because HOAC said Troop 10 would need to move to week six (August) in order to be a host.

Bryce Wells               Black Beard: Two open spots.

Boundary Waters: Positions should fill up.

Philmont: 45 to 50 scouts. (Deposits required ASAP)

Bob Key                     Will place add in auto trader for old scout truck.

Chuck Gibson           Greg Williams is looking for a 200 gallon water container for the new truck.  Weight not a concern at this point.  Need to keep wood poles for lashings on truck.  Knot Master is considering one dozen poles at 6 to 7 feet.    Knot Master will evaluate.

Greg Spies                Need 24 new tents for 68 new Mustang Scouts.  12 are already on order.  Total tent cost is $4,800.  Need 24 tarps at $48.  Also need Igloo water coolers and other misc. camping equipment.  Ordered 100 Troop 10 Scarf patches at $3.50 ea. for the new Mustangs.

Rob Wheeler            OA eligibility letter will be sent to parents.  Ordeal will be held at Bartle.  Request will be made for five leaders.

Greg Spies                Mic-O-Say duties were fulfilled at Bartle.

Terry Ellis                  Adult training for committee members will be held on Tuesday room 2207 at COR.  September training dates for leadership, outdoor and new leadership essentials are posted on the District calendar.

New Business           Re-charter deadline is March 14th.  New Parents meeting April 16th, working on a location commitment from Blue Valley.  Bartle parents meeting 4/20 at 7pm.  Bartle merit badge signup 4/25.  Trailhead Merit Badge Forum 3/26 (need volunteers)
