1. Introductions & Opening Comments

2. Scoutmaster Update – Greg Spies
a. Senior Patrol Leader – AJ Eaton

1st year campout went well – may older scouts participated and assisted with 1st
year advancement requirements – many rank advancement requirements were signed
off.
ii.
Eaton still pondering how to use the Bass Pro
gift cards –considering something for Bartle
iii.
Summer camp
1. Movie
night – working on a # of titles
2. Perhaps
use money from Bass Pro as motivation for best skits.
3. Bartle 2009

Discussion regarding providing a “wifi” network again at Bartle

Key, McCabe & Williams agreed to investigate
further

Would enable parents to stay in touch with email
while at camp

ensued – no decision was reached

Take
RED color team down 1 patrol to 3, given the changing demographics of the team

Agreed
Spies and color team leaders will evaluate and bring forward a recommendation
at the start of the school year.

Troop’s
Accounts Receivables are coming down with activity expected at truck loading for Bartle
i.
Have
met all the needs for this year for scouts who need assistance w/ fees to
attend Bartle
ii.
Remaining
money rolled over for next year
iii.
One
recipient whose son will benefit from the program talked about donating in the
future when the family gets back on its feet

Committee
agreed that the troop’s fundraising project would again be Holiday Greenery

asked all mentors to touch base with their counterpart prior to Bartle to make sure all questions have been answered
Meeting
adjourned by Blake Williams at 5:55PM – remainder of the meeting focused on
annual Mic-O-Say elections.
