4.      Outdoor Activities (Camping/Grubmaster) – Scott Brown/Matt Boresow/David Corley

a.       April 16-18, Fishing/OA Tap-out, Illig Farm

1.       Everything is good to go equipment wise

2.       Do as much work early before Mustangs arrive

3.       Induction is 2 weeks after tap-out

1.       All adults who need ASM training have been contacted

2.       Still in search of a couple trainers for a few sessions

3.       Leaders have to cook 1 meal – Plan is breakfast Saturday A.M. – coordinate w/ Corley.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       ix.      Fishing will be allowed after fire is built as long as fire pit is undisturbed.

5.      Bartle – Jim Cook

a.       Update

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      Last Monday PM was sign-up night – went smoothly

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ii.      136 boys

                                                                                                                                                                                                                        iii.      102 adults - 36 full time adults

1.      Adults need to verify Youth Protection won’t expire prior to camp

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       iv.      Next formal planning meeting at campout

 

6.      Equipment Coordinator – Chuck Gibson

a.       Update

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      Saturday before Bartle need help loading truck

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ii.      Have had problems @ locker with undesirables tailgating through gate and breaking into lockers

                                                                                                                                                                                                                        iii.      Tent order on hold until an official count is rendered

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       iv.      Tables also will need to be ordered

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         v.      Need radios for OA campout / summer camp

 

7.       Membership – Todd Martz

a.       Recruiting update

b.       New Parent Orientation/Mentors – Jeff Muchow

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      Meeting went well with great participation and leadership

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ii.      Jeff Muchow has put together mentoring program again

 

8.       Advancement – Brent Reynolds

a.       Scout thru Life – Brent Reynolds  - No issues

b.       Eagle Candidates – Tracy Thomas – Jacob Shreeve is coming up on board – will need assistance

 

9.      Scout Leadership – Doug Ball/Julia Day

a.       Last day for leadership cards is Monday

b.      Other than a couple of scouts who didn’t fill out JLT homework, it has been very quiet.

 

10.  Finance – John Martin

a.       Treasurer’s report –

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      We have 59,000 cash on hand

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ii.      Receivables 12,000 / 3,000 very overdue

                                                                                                                                                                                                                        iii.      Katy Trail was positive cash flow

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       iv.      In much better shape financially

 

11.  Community Service Projects – John Ahart

a.       Delano, July 2nd

12.  Honor Programs

a.       O/A  – Rob Baker

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      C Team has done a great job – final rehearsal for tap-out this week

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ii.      Committee approved a patch a few meetings ago

1.       In the works and will be awarded at May COH

                                                                                                                                                                                                                        iii.      There will be a small handful of guests this weekend from district/council

b.       Mic-O-Say – Jim Wasko/Greg Spies/Bob Tenny

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      Friday night – meeting for MOS

 

13.   Trailhead District Meeting – Scott Bower

a.       Adult Training – Scott Bower, Garrett Shropshire

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      We should be at 90% trained by the end of the weekend w/ OLS

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ii.      By mid-May we will have offered training to all

                                                                                                                                                                                                                        iii.      Ron Woods – District is still struggling to hit its numbers but appears T10 is well on its way towards training goal

 

14.  New Business/Open Discussion – All

a.       Tom Baker – centennial year Boy Scouts is bringing back 4 merit badges

b.      Venture crew had an outing this past weekend

c.       September Extravaganza

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      Food will be provided

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ii.      No plan on activities

                                                                                                                                                                                                                        iii.      PLC will make decision if they wish to attend

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       iv.      Estimated $30 per person

d.      Ron Woods

                                                                                                                                                                                                                           i.      Family campaign is $20,000 behind

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ii.      Risk Manager – Barry Fawler – new chair

1.      Go / No Go tool

2.      Drills will be held at summer camp

                                                                                                                                                                                                                        iii.      Cross over #’s are very poor at district level
